DUDES! Yeah, so my next submission is NOT the colored version of the Egyptian picture. But lining it was getting rather boring, so I took a break to do something fun 8D
So for fun, I did a vector! And for the first time ever for me, I vectored a photograph. It was pretty difficult, especially with this photograph, what with all the folds and shadows and shizzle. But it turned out looking alright, so yay! Right? The whole thing was inspired by 80s pop art. And there's a very good reason for that! See, this photo is of the wonderful  , who just happens to be my girlfriend! The photograph was taken by the extremely talented  Sadly, the photo I used hasn't been uploaded, but one from the same shoot has been! Go check it out, and the rest of her gallery, cuz its pretty freaking epic. I am serious. Oh yeah, the reason why its all 80s pop art. Laura likes 80s music. There we go. Anywayyyyy, I hope you all like it. If not, then oh well, cuz I had fun working on it. btw, the title is a reference to a song by The Cure, which is Laura's favorite band (and mine) who were very prominant in the 1980s.... plus she's the perfect girl. |
