Its summer! Though, over in my area, our summer's been very out of character. I live in So-Cal, where it usually hits the triple digits. But lately, its been cloudy and rainy. This is not Californian weather.
But usually, in California, summer means hot. And naturally, hot means THE BEACH. And if everyone else gets to enjoy the beach, Weird Girl should, too. So I drew her in a cute frilly bathing suit. It suits her childish nature.
I am really pleased with this entire piece. I like how she turned out, especially the pose. Also, she seems to be getting cuter and cuter every time I draw her. I like this.
Also love the colors I chose. It seems I actually am getting better with choosing colors instead of it being a fluke every time.
Honestly, I think this is the best work I've done yet. The consistency in style, the colors, the coloring, etc.
Anyway, I agree with you. This really stands out, and I love the colours you've used. Everything goes together so well, and you are so brilliant with little details.
I TOLD YOU YOU'RE A GENIUS. <3

This is gorgeous, Connor!
Very retro; reminds me of the Jetsons.
I still think a swimming pool full of tigers would have been better.

Never thought of retro. I'm just retarded when it comes to backgrounds, and the pen tool IS EASY. And brushes. I'm a tit.
It would have, and very fitting for Weird Girl. But it would have required me drawing more stuff, and I'm just not that guy. I'm the lazy shit.
OH MY.
